1970 Fender Musicmaster Bass - 30" scale

  • Neck Date: Shows 1969 for the year, but Month code is "00"
  • Neck Plate Date: 1970
  • Pot Dates: Both Oct. 1966
  • Looks to be all original.

    When I got it....

    Some Mods I did to it...

  • Unsoldered electronics ground wire from brass plate in bottom of cavity, and kept it intact as a unit.
  • New Black Abalone pickguard from WD
  • New Chrome Thumbrest
  • New Twin Rail Humbucker pickup from Dragonfire
  • New Fender 250k no-load tone pot
  • New CTS Volume pot
  • New 3-way mini toggle for pickup for Series/Split/Parallel modes
  • New Jack.

    Comparison to Original color. Finish has yellowed over the years to be more of a green....

    I returned it to stock, sold the parts, and sold the bass, and a year or 2 later, I got it back, and it remains stock....
